Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is located on the Right Bank of the Rio de la Plata. It is one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, full of vigour and energy. It is the fifth largest city in the world. Average temperatures vary form 10º C (51º F) in July to 25º C (77º F) in January.

Buenos Aires is reminiscent of Paris, Genoa, Madrid and many other major cities, due to the many divergent immigrants who arrived in the last century. Its music, reflected in the many aspects of the "tango", is also a consequence of this cultural diversity.
